Thanks Kathy for your daughter's comment on extended nursing.
I have had many calls lately from moms that think nursing past a year is
unbelievable (or not as nutritious, or your baby will never wean, or you will
not get your body back, etc....).

Today a mom called me as a La Leche League Leader. She was not convinced I
was giving her the proper information and told me she was going to call a
Lactation Consultant. I think she was a little surprised when I told her I am
also a Lactation Consultant. I did let her know that it was perfectly fine to
get a 2nd opinion!
