I take your point, Sarah....but this part of the story was not something the researchers were involved in. They heard from the parents that the BF was 'exclusive' and that paeds were happy with the development and growth of the baby.  I would like to know more, and in particular whether expressing and supplementing (with ebm, and/or formula) continued, which would help them (and us) assess volume as adequate or not.
