Sorry about the appearance of my messages. I have contacted Compuserve and
they are working on giving me an answer.

However, I will try to avoid apostrophes and quotes which seem to make it
more unreadable.

I am working on a very short list for corporations so that we could
recommend to the WHO a - must-do - list for corporations who wish to earn
the designation of Mother-Baby Friendly. Please let me know of your
thoughts on these 4 recommendations.

1. Provide a supportive corporate atmosphere via education to all employees
about the importance of breastfeeding.
This would reduce the amount of harassment of the mom and her
difficulty in getting time from her supervisor to pump.

2. Allow flexibility of working and pumping time to permit regular pumping
times during the work day.
Rather than requiring a specific time as we have moms who work odd
hours and times, the flexibility should be the key.

3. Provide a private clean area for pumping.
This can be a closet or an office - trying to make it as feasible
as possible for even the smallest company.

4. Provide access to clean water in an area that she can wash her hands and
equipment.
        This could be the bathroom.

Of course a company could provide more - such as a refrigerator, a pump and
an LC on site - but these would be extras and not part of the basic
requirements. Any comments?
