Has anyone ever heard of "blue John" as a reason for someone years ago not
being able to breastfeed? It was apparently thought to be something wrong
with the breastmilk.

The mother who is know breastfeeding - or was - is being screened for
galactosemia - is it possible the grandmother years ago also had the same
problem and it was called "blue John"
Thanks for your help.
