The spouse passing on information becomes problematic when "how you did 
it" is now out of date. I stored expressed milk in sterile plastic 
bottle liners (that's what was recommended 21 years ago), and my hubby 
sometimes still recommends this. I hope he never tells anyone they can 
feed their child 2 year old frozen milk (we did this once in the middle 
of the night, when our son, who was almost 3 and weaned, had an ear 
infection, and would not stop crying. He drank the milk from his cup, 
sighed, and went to sleep.)
