>> My question is, in your experience and expertises have you noticed significance in babies' temperatures that are having skin-to-skin contact via breastfeeding?<<

Dr. Nils Bergman presents data in his conferences, and it is also visibly presented, graphically, in his DVDs on kangaroo mothercare.

In s2s contact, if baby is cold, mom's core body temp rises a full degree to warm baby. If baby is too warm, mom's core body temp drops, to bring baby's temp back to normal. You can view data comparisons to a baby alone in an incubator.

He also presents graphically visual data showing similar patterns for baby's breathing, and heart rate, with baby s2s compared to baby alone in an incubator.
