Cindy is in Virginia, I am in Central PA. Her situation recently happened.
I had a mother with the same scenario-- slow healing leading to another
surgical repair- about 3 years ago. Both perineum problems were blamed on
the breastfeeding hormones. I DIDN'T ask the mom to ask the doc for
supporting references--she wasn't interested in weaning, and didn't.
Cindy-- since yours is a recent case, it would be interesting to see if
there are supporting references by the caregivers in your case. It very
well could be a side bar article or a letter to the ed in a gyn journal, or
a conference statement being attributed as fact that is being referenced.
Where ARE the docs getting that particular bit of info? My client's
situation was very much stated the way you phrased your situation.
