Hi everyone!
Tomorrow is the first day of the nordic breastfeeding week. At the Stockholm 
opening I am going to talk about the changes in bf practises during our 
centuary, i e how, why and when the regulations and limits were introduced and 
the contemporary consequenses - and how this still influences attitudes and 
false beliefs.
I have much information concerning my country, Sweden, on this subject, as I 
have been studying it and writing about it before. But I would be very 
interested to hear something about this process in other countries, as the US, 
and include this in my material. In Sweden there is a link between the creating 
of the modern "welfare society" and attitudes to breastfeeding practises during 
the first half of the centuary (this is, of course, only part of the 
explanation to why breastfeeding became so restricted and regulated in that 
period). But what about other countries with a different history of society? 
When did bf start to go down, and which were the main reasons, influences etc? 
Any information, anecdotic or whatsoever, will be very appreciated! 
If anybody can help with this, please do it quickly. Now it is nine o clock
