A prospective adoptive mother contacted me today and said that her
OB/GYN recommended she take thorazine. I told her why the use of drugs
is not necessary and can cause other problems. I know I remember
something about thorazine as a galactogogue, but can't find it in any of
the books I have. I am pretty sure that it was contraindicated for some
reason. Severe sedation maybe? I don't think this mom is going to want
to do this anyway, but would like something more definative to tell her
incase her doctor really pushes it.

Aloha,
Darillyn
