Hi All

The recent thread on Russian resources has prompted me to ask the
following:

My brother is a freshman in high school and studying Russian. When his
teacher gave translation of occupations, Tim explained his sister is an
IBCLC. His teacher said there is no such word as Lactation Consultant in
the language and the closest he could proximate was translating LC into
"milkmaid".

If someone who either speaks or reads Russian on the list could tell me
how you would translate the term it would be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
With kind regards from Tokyo
Aileen Emerling IBCLC
