So, I suppose cows drink human milk so they can have enough milk for their
calves? (isn't that quite an image??) We are the ONLY species that drinks
the milk of other animals. Does anyone else think that's kind of weird?
(Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE milk! I just have a problem with it being
sold
as a "health food").
I love cheese and ice cream but I despise drinking milk and am nursing #3
now. It makes me also think of the mom in front of me at the grocery store
last week, purchasing 3 gallons of milk with her WIC vouchers. Are you SOL
if you are lactose intolerant and enrolled in WIC? Are there any calcium
rich substitutes?
