One of my closest friends rang me this afternoon to let me know that last night on the ABC tv news here in Western Australia some research was presented saying that over 300 pollutents including perfume etc have been found in Breastmilk and the maybe breastmilk is not such an important issue after all. A paed. then came on and said that it was still important that mothers continue to breastfeed their babies and that people should not rush out and buy formula and bottles. Anyone know any more on this subject. Is this second hand info in fact correct?
