looking for an LC. in Surrey B.C., I'm feeling extremely helpless since I
live in Ontario and as an LC. helping difficult and refusing to latch
babies, all day long, but can't help my own family member. Her baby is 3d day
PP. and will not latch. She sucks on fingers, will finger feed, but won't
feed with a device at the breast. Mom's nipples are somewhat flat, birth was
rapid NCB, no meds and no-one in the hospital can get the baby on. Right now
she is in an Abbotsford Hospital and is supposed to be seeing a Doctor in
Vancouver (one hour away)who is familiar with breastfeeding problems at
11.00 am tomorrow morning.

Baby is being fed EBM, and stooling and voiding well. Is there a good LC. in
Surrey or nearby who she can be followed by as well. She had difficulties
with her first child and switched to formula after 2 or 3 months and really
doesn't want to do that this time.

Wishing that Canada wasn't so wide and rapid transit was as rapid as warp
speed.----- (bye the way, the story about the cab driver who's job was
sucking "tits" was just hilarious. That really made my day. Thanks, I needed
that)
