Have you tried using a soft shield insert such as the flexishield by
Ameda/Egnell or one of the new Medela comfort shield flanges? Avent's flange
is also flexible and soft. They work well when the breast is "sucked" in and
out of the hard plastic flanges. One size does NOT fit all...right?
