Not in any particular order....

LLLI's press releases
(http://www.lalecheleague.org/Release/worldhealth.html and others in the
blue sidebar on the left side of the screen). ILCA's press releases
(http://www.ilca.org/pressroom/index.php). Noodle Soup has those nice
newspaper-headline type single-sheet pages, if you can buy something. An
order page for one of them, with a small-scale picture, is at
http://catalog.noodlesoup.com/viewProduct.cfm?item_id=683196 and if you hit
"Breastfeeding Now" at the top of that page you see the whole list. All
the ones I've seen are good, but I guess you'd need the print catalogue to
figure out which would be most pertinent for you. Also, I thought that NYT
article about the nurse-in that Veronica just sent in was
*excellent*. Maybe you could get permission to use an article from New
Beginnings (LLLI) -- lots of them are reprinted on the website and there
are lots of FAQs there too. Also from LLLI there's a section on
breastfeeding and the law that is pretty pertinent in the wake of the
recent publicity about public breastfeeding
(http://www.lalecheleague.org/Law/summary.html). Five bucks gets you 50
LLL tear-off sheets "Facts about Breastfeeding - 2005" jam-packed with
brief abstracts of recent research under various headings. For the
technically minded, there are lots of great abstracts on breastfeeding
topics available online -- if you want a particular topic like Vitamin D
you can probably find an abstract about it with Google. A powerful topic
is prevention of millions of baby deaths worldwide per year, with
breastfeeding being one of the top most effective means to achieve this
(http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=20715). Dr. Jack
Newman's handouts (http://www.breastfeedingonline.com/ look for his
handouts in the index at the top of the page--lots more on that website
too). ILCA's Inside Track page in each issue of the JHL...I have just
copied about half a year's supply of "Managing your Milk Supply...Going
with the Flow". The AAP's policy statement Breastfeeding and the Use of
Human Milk
(http://aappolicy.aappublications.org/cgi/content/abstract/pediatrics;115/2/496).
The CDC's breastfeeding data from the NIS survey for 2003
http://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/NIS_data/. Lots of things from Kellymom's
website -- one of my favorites is the section on growth charts and
breastfed baby growth (http://www.kellymom.com/index.html).
