I had heard that Astroglide was so named because it was originally
developed as a lubricant for the aerospace industry.  And, that is why it
is so much more effective than other lubricants - instead of just adding
moisture, it is designed to be applied to two surfaces for lubrication
between them.

And who also thinks that if vaginal dryness can be a "side-effect" of
nursing, then recommending lubricants may help some moms continue
BFing.
