Cathy writes about being disappointed in the LLL's W...A...O..Breastfeeding
book. Although I like the newer edition more than the one I used 14 years ago
it is not on the top of the list of what I reccomend to new mothers for the
first month. I find The Nursing Mothers Companion and Bestfeeding Getting
Breastfeeding Right for You to be most helpul for the beginning of
breastfeeding. I find these manuals deal with the the practical side of how to
get it started without a lot of fluff, if you know what I mean. All three of
these books are on a resource list that we hand out to moms in a breastfeeding
folder when they deliver with us.
