Hi everyone,

wondered if you can help? I've had a mum ring me who finished breastfeeding
her fourth child last year. She breastfed them all, and tandem fed some too.

She has just had a shower, and seen some dry skin on her nipple, and rubbed
it off, then she thought she'd see if she still had any milk any more and
squeezed each breast.

One bought forth a little whitish / yellowy fluid, the other something
resembling green/ blue like she says the colour of ice pops, very bright in
colour.

She has asked me what I think it is, and I have explained I am not medically
qualified, so it would be best to check with her G.P. From my point of view,
what should I do a search for on these archives? Could this be padgets
disease? If not what? Has anyone had experience of anything similar?

I would be concerned for anyone having this , but this is even worse as she
is a personal friend of mine so I am worried for her, so please bear this in
mind when you reply. But that said, I do want to know but will be careful
what if anything I pass on to her, but we do need to know how urgent the
appointment at the docs should be. And should we ask for the hospital ASAP,
rather than just go via local G.P?

Thanks in anticipation.

Jenny.
