Yesterday my last call was from a woman who had called earlier in the day
and just decided that she wanted to breastfeed, baby 9 days old. She was
still leaking milk so with directions, over the phone on how to get
infant to latch and an appointment made for later in the day she gave it
a try. The weather was bad, icy and she lived a distance, so she called
back to say she had to cancel, but the baby had actually breastfed,
gulped and then went to sleep. She set up another appointment for Monday
and will continue to feed through the weekend. What a great way to end
the week. Just a short story with a good ending. I wanted to share with
all of you. SMART BABY and MOM.
