Support this smart young mom! She's turning on her baby's immune system and
can only add to the gift of life she has already given this baby.  Thought
LC actions were totally appropriate.  Official needs to know that whether
or not mom gives baby colostrum, her milk Will come in and she Will have a
heightened grief response.  It has nothing to do with BF and everything to
do with this hard position she has put herself in and she Will grieve.  And
 maybe have a little comfort in knowing she gave her baby the best for the
first few days.  Please feel free to share this with the official.
