You can obtain guidelines from the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA).  The website is www.ilca.org and has contact details. Many professional groups for IBCLCs round the world are affiliated with ILCA, including the one I'm a member of, the Queensland Lactation College.  If you are an ILCA member, you'll also be able to access the Members Only section of the website for additional information.
