A question was posed to me today from another HCP about the following infant.
Male
Born weighing 7lb 7 oz  20 in
2 mos  11 lb  13 oz   22.5 in
4 mos   15 lb 8 oz   25 in
8 mos    16 lb 2 oz   27.5 in

Fourth child for this mother - she had exclusively breastfed other 3 till 1 year.
The weight gain drops on even the breastfed charts.  

The question is - should assistance in breastfeeding be offered or should we 
leave this mother and baby alone.
