Greetings! This is my first week with Lactnet, so apologies if you've
reviewed this subject recently! My question is: does anyone have any
stories, suggestions, or resources they would like to share on the
issue of getting students in health care professions together to learn
about breastfeeding (and each others' prespectives!)? I'm currently
part of a very informal group of educators of nurses, physicians and
nutritionists who would like to introduce a "module" of 2-3 hours of
interprofessional learning around breastfeeding. We'd like to expand
to include other professions but, heh, we've got to start somewhere!
We do know that we need some women who are currently breastfeeding to
advise us, and that our module needs to be highly interactive, but
otherwise we're just beginning. I'd especially like to hear from
educators with experience in this sort of endeavour at the
     undergraduate level.

Thanks & Bye, Maureen White, MN, IBCLC, Dalhousie University, School
     of Nursing, Halifax, NS, Canada
