If you separate the studies and look at premenopausal breast cancer versus
postmenopausal breast cancer, breastfeeding appears to reduce the risk of
premenopausal breast cancer, but doesn't seem to have an effect on
postmenopausal breast cancer....V. Nichols-Johnson, MD
