I, too, have concerns about this high protein, low carbo diet.  I have tried
to discourage my patients from following it, but to no avail!.  I had one
breastfeeding mother follow it, and her milk supply dramatically plummeted
(it was previously abundant).   We had to really work to get her supply
re-established, and she willingly accepted dietary counseling on healthier
methods of weight management.  I realize n=1 in this study, but it certainly
made an impression on me.
