Thanks in advance for any help given. I currently am trying to help a very determined breastfeeding mom of a 9 day old 32 weeker. She has been treated for bi-polar disease for a very long time and went off all her meds except for Zoloft during pregnancy. She now NEEDS to go back on her drugs which include, Prozac, Ativan, Klonipan, Xanax, Risperdal, Lamictal, Restoril, and Lunesta. I know they are all L2-3 but am concerned about cummulative effects. I've contacted UCSD's drug info service and Standfords service but have not heard back from anyone as of yet. Please let me know privately of any insight. Everyone in the hospital is great and want to keep this baby on breastmilk.

Also, is there any LL member or NMC member in the San Jose, CA area who has a specialty in hypoplastic breasts and would want to offer support to a very determined and discouraged 2nd time mom.

You're all the best!
Dawn Staudt-Vanek BSN, IBCLC
