Typically "rusty milk" syndrome shows up anywhere from several months before
delivery to a couple of weeks after.  At two months this mother should be
evaluated for the possibility of an intraductal papilloma (benign, bleeding
usually stops spontaneously without any treatment) or the possibility of a
rapidly growing malignant cancer.
