So Jan, does the milk contain more fat at 4 months? That would be the
simplest explanation of a higher calorie content. The baby is stronger, the
milk ejection reflex is well-conditioned to the baby's suckling, so the
breast is better drained at four months? This is plausible, but do we have
any proof?

I don't mind showing my age. I just passed the IBLCE exam for the third
time, and it feels pretty good!
