But how secure *is* this evidence?
I wonder how the result could change if there should be done a prospective
study instead of retrospecxtive.
In most cases I think (if I recall well) studies about the relation between
bf and breastcancer are retrospective. That means that it depends on the
acurressy (sp?) of the woman's memory (not all moms keep diaries). Then one
can ask: how well *is* this woman's memory, how well are questions asked and
how is breastfeeding defined? The factor of memory becomes more important
with growing length of time gone by since lactation. Might that be one
explanation for the even less conclusive outcomes for postmenopauzal cancer?
