Was in your shoes biting my nails last year...

But (if that will make you to feel better) in 1991 our Foreign Medical 
Graduate exam results were delayed for 4 (FOUR) weeks after the official 
deadline to report the score. No Internet - just rumors, a lot of big 
time stress and no supportive listserve to vent about our frustration 
;D... I had to know the results of my first exam (the equivalent of the 
USMLE Step 1) couple weeks before my second exam (what is now USMLE 
Step2), but I found them only 2 weeks after the second test.
