Nikki,
Uh, okay, but I really don't think Dr. Page is "espousing" discouragement of
breastfeeding.  Quite the contrary, I believe he is espousing the
discouragement of teeth whitening during pregancy and breastfeeding during
the first weeks.  Honestly, I would be saddened to hear from a mother that
she would rather go ahead and whiten her teeth when the evidence is not
clear cut that she could it safely.

You said, "People have their teeth cleaned frequently; if there is nothing
published after all that exposure, why create worry in a mom?"  The question
was not about cleaner teeth, but whiter teeth and the chemical used to bring
about results.  Besides, if she was not already doing it, if I remember
Ann's post correctly, then she would have nothing to worry about.
