Nikki I'm jealous! sounds like a fantastic conference!
I have a question...I understand that there are issues with cosleepers not
having a safety standard here in Australia and that makes it difficult if
not impossible for them to be easily available here....what's the story in
the US?

PS. with dairy cows, yes they will make more milk if milked more frequently,
the physiology of lactation is pretty much the same however, it's a case of
diminishing returns...an extra milking will result in more milk in total but
less milk per milking and since it's expensive (in terms of labour) and
difficult in terms of feasibility (being a dairy farmer is relentless!) to
get cows out and in for milking they usually just do twice a day...amazing
how that info about lactation that bored me to death when I was an undergrad
ad student became relevent and interesting when I had my first child!
