In my experience, many allergic babies refuse solid foods until they are
a year or so old, with no weight faltering or anemia.

Some doctors here are experimenting with giving pancreatic enzymes to
moms of allergic babies, to help mom digest proteins better and pass
less along in the milk.  That's certainly a low risk thing to try first.

If mom and doc are willing, let us know the outcome.
