I like the phrase, but in my personal experience, neither of my children--who
teethed quickly and furiously--had any symptoms of difficulty nursing--in
fact, quite the opposite, I wondered if they nursed so much at night because
they were teething all the time.  My son had 2 teeth by 10 weeks and averaged
a tooth per month--12 teeth by the time he was a year old.  Anyway, it gave
me an excuse, in my ignorance, to ignore the pediatricians ignorant advice to
"let him cry and he'll soon sleep through".
