The tongue of the
sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst..

I just used this verse when a nurse asked me to come in over the weekend to
help a mom who was getting frustrated. She mentioned that the baby was
keeping his tongue up....I mentioned Coach Smith's First Rule and mentioned
this verse.

The nurse couldn't get over the truth of it and I heard all about it again
on Monday morning.  (I did go in to help and this kid was dry and that
tongue was "cleaving to the roof of his mouth for thirst!")
