Regarding Ginnys post on underwire bras : The best thing a mother can do is
be fitted for a bra by someone who is trained as a bra fitter, and also if
possible as in my case also knows something about breastfeeding. My store is
a store for breastfeeding mothers and we don't sell bras that we don't fit
first unless the mother insists. we give out a bra fitting info guide so
moms know the ins and outs of nursing bra fit. Underwire bras that fit
properly generally don't cause a problem. Most nursing mothers can benefit
from the extra support an underwire gives. One of the best purchases a
nursing mom can make is a "sleep" bra. This is a relaxed fit bra that is
comfortable to sleep in and also works good during any engorgement period
when the regular bra feels tight.
