What about accustoming the baby to skin-to-skin by finger feeding him.  Be
sure to make baby open wide before letting baby have anything in his mouth.
Option 2 - try Avent or Munchkin slow flow nipples, again making baby open
wide before he has anything in his mouth to acclimate him to wide-mouth
sucking.
