I went to a super workshop on BF and dental caries at a recent LLL
conference.  Available research certainly doesn't seem to support the
notion that BF leads to caries.  The most persuasive point made however,
was that there is virtually no evidence of dental caries in North
American aboriginal people, once a completely breastfed population,
until the Europeans introduced refined sugar.
