You're both right. Ariana H is the now ex wife of Michael H, ex political
candidate. BTW, she's not a native of the USA, and so her accent is very
thick- some people have also "blamed" different views on her having grown
up somewhere else. She's very active in the Republican party, and some
around here say *she* was more the candidate than him. She's outspoken on
many topics and is frequently heard doing radio op-ed pieces. She speaks
very well, though with that thick accent. (Greece, maybe?) I had no idea
that she supports breastfeeding, but it doesn't surprise me somehow. It's
hard to get a handle on her. She did used to be very active in some sort
of big time uh, let's call it "alternative" religious movement. There is a
large structure involved, I think in Marin County (just north of San
Francisco.) I think she was #2 in charge or something like that of this
group. I have heard many times that she is no longer involved. I think
Michael had something to do with it- they married late and he's very
straight laced. I've read it's the "most amicable divorce in history," if
anyone cares.

I didn't see the Sacto Bee piece. What did she have to say?
