I was born in the mid 50's and I was vaccinated for small pox. My oldest
daughter born in 1971 was not. My mother insisted that I get the innoculation
on my inner thigh so I would not have "an ugly scar" on my arm. It is still
faintly visible.
The book discussion is getting a bit tedious and while I do appreciate the
information, I would prefer to discuss breastfeeding. No offense meant to
anyone.
    Also, I'd like to be part of the discussion on charging for outpatient
visits. I have recently submitted a proposal to my director, mostly because
we need to have better documentation, and she is asking for more information
about other programs. We are located in the south west suburbs of Chicago.
MILC, NILCA or LRA folks, please contact me and I'll send you a few questions
by email if you care to participate. However what I'd like to share with her
is this information:
Do you charge for OP visits? How did you arrive at the cost? How do patients
register and pay? Do you have a pump rental program? How to clients pay? (Via
the cashier, LC office?) How many deliveries per year? (Bf'inf rate?) How
many FTE for Lactation?
