To follow up on Pat's note:

As I remember it, the person raised her hand and said, "Our coroner insists
that every baby be in his own crib because a mother thought her baby was her
pillow and threw it onto the floor & killed it."  And Pat is right -- it
certainly put a damper on the rest of the conference.  I'm not sure I quite
recovered from that statement -- and this happened in the great state of  __
in 1991!
