I shared some of the hoo-hah about co-sleeping with another list (our
unofficial NCT list) and posted the URL for the news story.

I got an email tonight from our chief exec  Belinda Phipps who is going on
morning TV tomorrow,  called in by the most-watched-by-mothers morning TV
programme, who had seen the story in the NY Times.

Belinda had seen my post and emailed me for more info, so she could have
help to work out  her facts and views. All she had was a badly faxed copy
of the NYT piece, and she needed to focus on challenging it.

I was able to send her a potted version of the discussion on Lactnet (no
names of course, as per Netiquette) which was *enormously helpful* to her,
as she just wasn't in a position to do the research from home, at night,
and she needed to be up at the crack of dawn to get to the studios.

This means that the message about the 'dangers' of co-sleeping will be
effectively debated - and I know for a fact she is going to use KD's point
about cars, which she thought was spot-on when I told her it.
