I have suffered from heavy menstrual bleeding since my third miscarriage,
and hoped that a successful pregnancy and breastfeeding would relieve it.
However, it did not, and I have found help from herbal medicine.  While any
mum should consult a qualified herbalist to prescribe for her individual
needs and situation, herbs that I took which were of particular help were
Nettle, Wild Yam, Cramp Bark, Yarrow and Vitex Agnus Castus.  Nettle and
Yarrow are both especially helpful for heavy bleeding and can be taken as
teas.
