Jane,
Just today after swimming I was talking with a woman who has painful
joints.  She told me that her joints didn't hurt when she was taking
glocosamin sulfate tablets that she bought at the health food store.  She
had run out but intended to get more.  I checked with my local health
food store & he said that it was a food suppliment & there were no
warnings on the jar about use by pregnant or lactating women.
