I am in private practice and only visit moms at their homes. A short visit is 45 minutes, but most take 60-75 minutes and the more complicated cases 90 minutes. I fill in the forms with whatever data I have before leaving to visit, take brief notes during the vistit and fill out hte forms and write reports to HCPs afterwards. This may take another 15-30 minutes per visit. I charges per time at a set rate per hour and counting quarter of hours. If there is telephone or email follow up, I include that as an unpaid service.
