I have a question - I run a pump station and have a private practice.

My question is this - I am considering working with an assistant to cover
for me and help in another area of town with the pumps.  I am interested in
hearing how others pay assistants for both pumps and handling phone and
consults while you are unavailable.  This person is currently going through
a Bf course and plans to take the exam next year.  I want to be fair - also
realizing that I am paying overhead costs and will provide her supplies.  I
also realize that different areas of the country are different as well.  So
state where you are located so I can keep that in mind as I figure.
