The situation of the mother with unusually large nipples whose baby fails to
thrive because of being unable to reach the sinuses has been discuused here
before. I am presenting a case study at a conference involving a mother whose
first couple of babies did fine and whose subsequent babies increasingly
failed to thrive due to increasingly enlarging nipples. I have not found this
discussed in the literature. I would be grateful if any of you know of any
references to this that I could access. I am talking about hard data, any
discussion of anatomy/physiology, etc., journal articles - anything "solid" to
back up my anecdotal data. Please e-mail me privately since I am nomail.
Thanks. Miriam
