Iąm sorry what I said didnąt come through.

No, No, No.  I wasnąt referring to you.  I believe that you do very thorough
research before you come to your opinions and I greatly respect that.

There was someone else who made a comment that seemed to me as just jumping
on a bandwagon without doing the research.

Please accept my apologies.  I really appreciate the thought that you take
in your posts and hope that even though we have different opinions we can
discuss this ­ I donąt think you are anti-science- your limits of acceptable
biological manipulation are different than mine.

Sorry for this misunderstanding.

However, broccoli and many other of the variants of the brassica family were
produced by selection.  Genetic engineering to me is introducing a mutation
directly into the genetic material via cloning.

And, yes, I agree we need to be looking at who is funding the research.  I
believe I was adding another perspective and I probably wouldnąt have looked
at the patents, except for you sending me the urls, for which I thank you.
