It has recently come to my attention that the Certified Breastfeeding Counselor training by Prepared Childbirth Educators (https://www.childbirtheducation.org/product/independent-study-breastfeeding-counselor-prep-course-breastfeeding-beyond-the-basics/) is the only Magnet approved lactation certification (other than the IBCLC). (Magnet Recognition is a program of the American Nurses Association, bestowed for excellence in nursing care)  I cannot recall ever having contact with anyone from this course and can find only limited information online.  Is there any sort of a clearing house that can provide feedback on the program?  I notice it is not recognized by LEAARC but that may be in progress.  

I'm trying to be well-equipped in terms of offering support to staff nurses who want to move forward toward certification.  Any information would be welcome!  Thank you!
