As of that publication date, she was reported to have earned her BA through
Union Institute and had plans to work on her master's and her PhD.

If the above link doesn't work, do an Advanced Google search using her name
in the Exact Phrase window. This item was the last one on the 5th page of
references, showing as an untitled .pdf. I have a dial-up and it took
several minutes to download.

There was only one public print resource (in those first 5 pages of
citations - I didn't go any further) that referred to her as "Dr". It's my
assumption that the reporter for that publication was in error.
